Frequently Asked Questions

Johannes' Palette: You will hear many opinions from different instructors on what palette they recommend. The classes are basically lectures and video demo. Most attendees sit and watch while taking notes. During the demos some like to follow along. You do not need to go out and buy art supplies from your class.
Brushes: I use a small, medium, and large brights.

Johannes considers PanPastel to be a marriage between oils and watercolor. This makes an excellent painting medium. It offers the fantastic color variations you get with watercolor but allows for changes and adding into wet paint like oils. You can even erase your mistakes like an undo button in photoshop.
